Short Term Loans

 
     
AGRICULTURAL GOLD LOANS:
           
  • ELIGIBILITY: To  agriculturists for raising Crops, agricultural related development activities  and seasonal agricultural operations in EAST GODAVARI, GUNTUR and WEST GODAVARI Districts.           
  • FINENESS OF GOLD: Only  Gold Ornaments (not Biscuits or Bars) with not less than 19 Carats quality will  be accepted to pledge for these loans.           
  • REPAYMENT: As  applicable to the crop / activity subject to a maximum period of ONE YEAR.           
  • ADVANCE RATE PER GRAM: Rs.2,000/-  per Gram (net weight).                

KISAN CREDIT CARDS (KICC):           

  • OBJECTIVE: To  provide Crop Loans and other Agricultural Loans to the farmers with simplified  and hassle free terms.             
  • FOR WHOM? :  Agriculturists for raising Crops, agricultural related development activities  and seasonal agricultural operations in EAST GODAVARI, GUNTUR and WEST GODAVARI Districts.             
  • TENURE:  Tenure of the Card is THREE years with yearly revival.             
  • LOAN AMOUNT: As  per the scales of finance fixed by District Technical Committee / Bank from  time to time.             
  • INTEREST ON CREDIT  BALANCES: As applicable to Savings Bank Deposits.             
  • CROP INSURANCE: All  Crops notified by Agricultural Insurance Corporation of India will be  covered under Comprehensive Crop Insurance Scheme.             
  • PERSONAL INSURANCE: Eligible  Card holders will be covered under Personal Accidental Insurance scheme for an  amount of Rs.50,000/-.             
  • Working Capital Loans to  Fish Tanks will also be considered under these Cards.              
  • CROP LOANS under  Tie-up Agreement with sugar factory or Tobacco Board, will be financed without  Collateral Security up to a maximum limit of Rs.1,00,000/- and Rs.1,50,000/-  respectively.          

RYTHU MITHRA GROUPS (RMG):
           

ELIGIBILITY: Homogeneous Group of Small  and Marginal Farmers, Lessee/Tenant farmers and Share Croppers with cultivation  of land not exceeding 5 acres of dry land or 2.5. acres of irrigated land can  avail agricultural loans for raising Crops, agricultural related development  activities and seasonal agricultural operations in EAST GODAVARI, GUNTUR and WEST GODAVARI  Districts.        
             

  • LOAN AMOUNT: As  per the scales of finance fixed by District Technical Committee / Bank from  time to time.             
  • CROP INSURANCE: All  Crops notified by Agricultural Insurance Corporation of India will be  covered under Comprehensive Crop Insurance Scheme.             
  • PERSONAL INSURANCE: Members  of the Group will be covered under Personal Accidental Insurance scheme for an  amount of Rs.50,000/-.         

JOINT LIABILITY GROUPS:           

OBJECTIVES                      

  • To augment flow of credit to tenant farmers  cultivating land either as oral lessees or sharecroppers and small farmers who  do not have proper title of their land holding through formation and financing  of JLGs.             
  • To extend collateral free loans to target  clients through JLG mechanism.             
  • To build mutual trust and confidence between  banks and tenant farmers.       

ELIGIBILITY:         
             

  • FOUR to TEN Members should be of similar socio  economic status and background, carrying out farming activities and who agree  to function as a joint liability group.             
  • The groups must be organized by the likeminded  farmers and not imposed by the bank or others.             
  • The members should be residing in the same  village / area and should know and trust each other well enough to take up  joint liability for group / individual loans.             
  • The members should be engaged in agricultural  activity for a continuous period of not less than 1 year within the area of  operations of the bank branch.             
  • The group members should not be a defaulter to  any other formal financial institution.             
  • JLG should not be formed with members of the  same family and more than one person from the same family should not be  included in the JLG.             
  • Can avail agricultural loans subject to a  maximum of Rs.50,000/- per member, for raising Crops, agricultural related  development activities and seasonal agricultural operations in EAST GODAVARI, GUNTUR and WEST GODAVARI  Districts.      
               

 PRODUCE LOANS:           

  • Produce  loans can be allowed against pledge of farm products in order to avoid distress  sale by the farmers.              
  • These  loans can be availed by Farmers having proof of land holding and basing on  average yield of the crop.               
  • Farmer  can keep his produce in his farmhouse or a room attached to his house of First  class or 2nd class construction. Produce loans against Central/State  warehousing receipts and Market Yard receipts also permitted.               
  • The  period of loan shall for ONE YEAR. 

LOAN ELIGIBILITY CARDS - SAGU RYTHU RAKSHANA HASTAM

  • The Schemee is introduced for Tenent farmers, Share Croppers and Oral lessees.
